University of Technology and Education works with Taipei Office

On the morning of October 21, 2019, the University of Technology and Education (UTE) had a meeting with representatives of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City to exchange information about training programs create and promote collaborative relationships.

Attending the meeting were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Trung Hung - Vice Rector of; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Qui Tra - Head of Department of Research Management and International Cooperation; MSc. Nguyen Tan Hoa - Deputy Head of Department of Culture, Science and Technology; together with leaders of departments and faculties.

On the side of the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, there were: Mr. Chung Van Chinh - Chairman of the Taipei Office; Ms. Au Quy Hy - Education Secretary; with members of the delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. VO Trung Hung welcome the presence of the delegation, and at the same time thank them for taking the time to visit the University.

Panoramic meeting
There are many Taiwanese enterprises invest in Vietnam on a large scale. Currently, in order to expand the partnership, the Taipei Office will focus on a development strategy in Da Nang City, focusing on two segments of tourism and high technology. University of Technology and Education - UD - is an application-oriented higher education institution, this is a great choice to connect, create strong links and bring collaborative relationships between Universities and businesses are growing day by day.

At the meeting, Ms. Au Quy Hy wished to accompany the UTE in developing activities of good technical human resources, knowing Chinese; organizing exchanges for staff, students, training orientation for the mold mechanical industry - one of the industries that are receiving great attention from enterprises. Along with that, the Taipei Office will coordinate with the University to allow students to participate in scholarship programs, summer programs, and events organized by Taiwan. In addition to learning and exchanging language, culture, social life, culinary ... schools will together exchange about management and training in many fields such as: technology, science
This visit is of great significance in promoting the close cooperation between Taiwan's education, businesses and University of Technology and Education, towards signing a cooperation agreement in nearly time.
