On March 7, 2023, at the University of Technology and Education (UTE) - University of Danang (UD) there was a working session by Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Director of UD and Professor. Slim Khalbous - AUF General Director; GS. Laurent Sermet - Director of AUF Asia-Pacific region.

In order to strengthen cooperation between the Francophone University Organization (AUF) and AUF member universities, of which UD is an official and active member since 1995. High-level delegation of AUF visited and worked with UD to discuss and propose directions for cooperation in the new period and attended the Opening Ceremony of the Francophone Career Center (CEF Danang) located at the University of Pedagogy and Technology - UD. AUF was established more than 60 years ago and is a network connecting universities, colleges, institutes, and centers worldwide (currently has more than 1,000 members in nearly 120 countries) with the vision of providing support Supporting the development of the education and university system under the motto: "Think globally about science in the Francophone region to act regionally with the principle of respecting the cultural diversity of each country".

According to AUF representatives, CEF Danang is one of three CEF centers in Vietnam (after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) and among nine CEF centers established by AUF in seven countries in Asia. -Pacific (Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Thailand, China, Vanuatu and Vietnam). The center is designed according to international standards, implementing activities in 04 main areas: consulting, providing information and guidance on finding jobs; soft skills training; issue professional certificates and start a business.

The opening of CEF Danang, a shared workspace for the university community and partners (not only limited to AUF member universities but also open to other universities) will bring amenities and educational services. digital education, supporting access to businesses, thereby contributing to Vietnam's higher education development strategy associated with innovation in the period to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
