In the framework of cooperation
between Chaopraya University (CPU) and University of Technology and Education– The University
of Danang, since 2014, an annual student exchange program between two
institutions has been successfully conducted. The programme is expected to let
the students gain some knowledge of modern technology in industrial production
process as well as work experience in international environment. Moreover, with
a view to exchanging cultures and traditions, the programme is hoped to help
strengthen the relationship between two institutions.
Ten UD-UTE’s students majoring in Food Technology, Heat and Refrigeration
Engineering Technology, and Electrical – Electronics Engineering Technology had
a one-month internship at CPU. In 2017, based on the success and the feedback from
students and staff, both schools decided to double the duration of the
internship to 2 months. From 2018, the number of students who are granted this opportunity is increased to 20. A total of 50 students have taken part in
this program so far.
In
exchange, CPU’s students also have a chance to have a four-month internship at
UD-UTE. During the past two years, there has been 6 students who met the
requirements participating in the program (2 in 2017, 4 in 2019).
