On 13/4/2023, the University of Danang – The University of Technology and Education and the Limosge University organized a year-end report to Guillaume Chezeaux, a student of Limosge University – France in the FOAD project.

To promote the activities of international cooperation in education, studying science and technological transfer, The University of Technology and Education established relationships cooperating with plenty of Universities, and international organizations including partners from France; Limoges technological institution - The Limoges University is a unit possessing the cooperation of The University of Technology and Education for exchanging students.
In 02/2023, The University of Technology and Education received Guillaume Chezeaux, a sophomore of Limoges technological institution - The Limoges University coming for an internship in 3 months at mechanical engineering. Guillaume’s topic was studying the level of surface roughness when threading steel C45 under the guidance of Dr. Bui He Thong and Dr. Phan Nguyen Duy Minh.
During the internship course at The University of Technology and Education, Guillaume Chezeaux carried out missions following the plan precisely: studying the abstract of the study’s situation of the topic; implementing the detailed machining of the machine in the workshop - Mechanical engineering, then measured the level of surface roughness then Assessing and processing the results and reporting the results.

After 3 months, Guillaume Chezeaux recalls studying the environment at The University of Technology and Education as good, and generic, the students here are so optimistic, and supportive during the internship. Besides that, Guillaume Chezeaux thanks the leaders of this university, particularly Associated Prof. Vo Trung Hung whom he created conditions to connect the cooperation of both universities giving chances for students coming to Danang – Vietnam, and participating in internships working at the university.
At the reported meeting, Associated Prof. Vo Trung Hung highly appreciated Guillaume Chezeaux that Guillaume Chezeaux is generic, adaptive to the new atmosphere of the University, optimistic about participating in activities of the university and advertising the student recruitment of the university.

Associated Prof. Vo Trung Hung asked him “Do you have any ideas or suggestions for the university to improve and attract international students coming for the internship at The University of Technology and Education”
Guillaume Chezeaux said “ I hope that the university could conduct more topics, researching activities combined with students currently studying in the University and international students using English to complete tasks. This will help students of the University of Technology and Education to seize the opportunity to thrive in foreign languages. Moreover, the university needs to support the scholarship and free accommodation in the internship period at the University which is so great”.
About the specialty of Guillaume Chezeaux, Dr. Bui He Thong and Dr. Phan Nguyen Duy Minh commented that Guillaume Chezeaux has practiced skills well, using flexible and competent devices at the workshop of the university and He completed extraordinary his topic studying during the internship course.

During the internship, Guillaume took advantage of the weekend to visit and explore the culinary culture, art, and people of Da Nang, Vietnam. I have been to many places such as Ba Na Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, Cham Ancient Institute, Hoi An, Hue, and Hanoi capital...
Guillaume shared: “I am really interested in Da Nang cuisine in particular and Vietnam in general, very delicious and wonderful, the people here are very friendly, open, and always helping people. Nature and scenery here are very beautiful, especially I can admire the beautiful scenery of Da Nang Beach. If there is a chance, I will come back to Da Nang in the future.”
Guillaume expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors; Department of Science Management and International Cooperation; The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering created the best conditions for me during my more than 03 months of internship at the University of Technology and Education. Guillaume wishes to become a bridge in the student exchange cooperation relationship between the two Universities.
Guillaume proudly said: “When I return to Limoges, France, I will promote and introduce to my friends in the University of Limoges the good experiences at the University of Technology and Education as well as about the culture, landscapes, people in Da Nang city in particular and Vietnam in general.”
It is known that in September 2023, the University of Limoges will also cover travel and accommodation expenses for some students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – the University of Technology and Education to come to the University of Limoges Limoges for the internship. These are the sweet fruits in response to the cooperation efforts of the University of Technical Education and the University of Limoges - France.
in December 2022, 04 students from Chaopraya University (Thailand) came to practice at the Faculty of Digital Technology – The University of Technology and Education. This is the result of the cooperation relationship between UTE and Chaopraya University (Thailand). After the Covid-19 epidemic, UTE welcomed many international students to practice, these are efforts in international cooperation and affirmation of the prestige of UD-UTE
