On the morning of
November 12, 2019, at the University of Technology and Education (UTE) , there
was a seminar to introduce scholarship programs and research opportunities in
Germany organized by the Germany Academy of Education, DAAD.
Attending the seminar,
on the part of the DAAD organization, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung - in
charge of the DAAD scholarship program in Vietnam; Mr. Do Minh Viet - in charge
of marketing DAADD.
On the side of
University of Technology and Education, there is Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Quy Tra -
Head of Research Management and International Cooperation Department; Dr. Ho
Tran Anh Ngoc - Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; representatives of
the Faculties' leaders; lecturers and numerous students of University of
Technology and Education.
Overview of the Seminar to introduce the scholarship
Opening the seminar,
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Phan Qui Tra expressed his feeling and welcomed the presence of
the guests from the German Academy of Education DAAD.
At the
seminar, Mr. Do Minh Viet gave an overview of the history and culture of
Germany. DAAD is the abbreviation of the German Academic Exchange Service,
supporting over 1.9 million scholars at home and abroad. The DAAD also serves
as an association of German Universities, Colleges and Students, and is one of
the leading institutions to support international student and scientist
exchange programs. In addition to providing scholarships, DAAD also has other
functions and tasks such as: promoting internationalization, supporting
developing countries through building good and private universities and
colleges. on education policy, diplomacy and development ...

The scholarship programs
are of great significance to students, opening up opportunities to study abroad
