In an effort to expand international
cooperation activities with foreign educational institutions, University of Technology and Education (UTE-U) signed an MoU with Yeungnam University College (YNC – Korea)
regarding exchange of scholars, exchange of students, exchange of information
and academic materials, internship program and other educational activities in
2016. The cooperation was quickly implemented starting with the student exchange
activity in the same year.
Ten YNC’s students were chosen to
spend 3 weeks in Danang exchanging and experiencing the culture, the language, the
history, the lifestyle and the food. They were, together with students from
UTE-UD involved in meaningful social activities such as visiting and playing
abandoned children at SOS village and Quang Chau pagoda; visiting kindergarten;
cleaning up the school’s neighborhood, etc. Korean and Vietnamese traditional
games, modern music were also parts of the exchange program.

Besides, students also had a chance
to hang out at beautiful sceneries like Linh Ung pagoda, Ngu Hanh Son
(mountain), Ba Na Hill and historical sites like Dien Hai Citadel, Da Nang museum,
Cham museum, Con Ga church…

Vietnam – Korea festival was held to celebrate this exchange program,
showcasing talents of students from both schools, making an unforgettable
memory for those who took part in this program.
